| 1) Introduction |
|
| Trading is the core industry
of global business in Korea! This
department offers goal-oriented
intensive training, operates two
core academies, Trading and Marine
Transportation and assists students
to obtain certificates in international
trade and administration of physical
distribution. The curriculum in
which 80 per cent of the courses
are those on practical business
affairs and practicum focuses
tightly on practice-oriented and
on-the-job training. The department
was designated as the department
for producing trading personnel
(to 2008) by the Ministry of Commerce,
Industry, and Energy and receives
financial support from it. The
department hosts two well-known
programs, International Market
Survey and Bundle Trading Contest,
which is the pride of the department
and was awarded first place in
the competition of specialized
educational programs at the university.
