| The southeast region of the
Korean Peninsula including Ulsan,
Busan, Masan, and far to Gwangyang
is the major area for the Northeast
Asian Regional Logistics Hub.
The maritime and port administration
industry will make our country
the Northeast Asian Regional Logistics
Hub and a variety of maritime
and port administration corporations
are playing an important role
in achieving this goal. It has
been a common practice for maritime
and port administration corporations
to hire graduates of the economics
department but professional experts
are required now. To meet this
demand, our university establishes
Department of Maritime and Port
Administration in 2008 to produce
professional experts for the maritime
and port administration industry.
